Hassle-Free Hosting in the Golden City of Dubai

In only 50 years, Dubai’s population has exploded from 60,000 people in 1969 to over 3 million in 2019.

But Dubai’s population isn’t just noteworthy for being fast-growing… foreign workers make up 85% of the city’s residents, and this has created a culture that’s incredibly diverse and entirely unlike anywhere else on earth.

Dubai’s unique cultural melting pot helps to attract 17 million tourists each year. If you think that sounds like a lot, with Expo 2020 on the horizon, this number is set to skyrocket much higher in the near future.

It’s no surprise, then, that short-term rental accommodation on Airbnb and other platforms is currently in high demand in Dubai. But what many people don’t know is that short-term renting only became legal in Dubai in 2015 – and becoming a host in the City of Gold is still not without its challenges.

Currently, a long list of government requirements must be met in order to qualify and regulate a short-term rental property in Dubai. Put in place by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), these requirements are designed to ensure quality.

However, they can be daunting if they’re not fully understood – and many property owners have been left in the dark about how the entire process works.

Expo 2020 – who’s coming?

  • Expected to bring 25 million visitors to Dubai over 6 months.
  • 70% of visitors expected to be tourists.
  • 190 countries participating, with the help of 30,000 volunteers.
  • 40,000 workers are building the site.

Fortunately, we’re here to help property owners in Dubai get their short-term rentals set up, and to provide an ongoing premier host management service – all while complying with government regulation.

Introducing Airsorted:
The property management service that makes hosting hassle-free.

Airsorted is a licensed tourist operator in Dubai. We take the hassle away from our hosts, providing them with end-to-end support, including all aspects of government registration and property management.

If you aren’t the current property owner, we also require a No Objection Certificate – but that’s it.
